Carol’s Corner
It’s been so easy to eat lovely fresh Zone balanced meals over the summer, with lots of crunchy salads together with a bit of fish, chicken or meat of some kind; and of course the odd glass of wine or G&T in the sun in the afternoon with some cheese for balance.
So, start the year off well and get in the Zone. If you need my help to get going again, please contact me.

Reminder – Office Now Closed
A reminder that I no longer have the office in Panama Street, but am working from home on the Terrace.
I am happy for people to collect product by appointment, and I am still seeing clients for consultations.
Courier Parcels
After an initial drama over changing the courier pick up, this is now working well.
Please note:
I may not send parcels every day, so it pays to think ahead so you don’t run out of product.

Change of Address
the Featherston Street post office, which was probably the busiest post office in Wellington.
As a consequence, my PO Box number has changed slightly and is now:
PO Box 25 077, Wellington 6140.
On a positive note, the walk to the central post office helps to keep my step count up.

Here we’ll focus specifically on hormones that might be impacting your weight and what you can do to manage them.
What are hormones?
For many of us, our first introduction to the word hormones was somewhere in our early teens. While it may be a word that is familiar to us, defining it could prove more challenging. Hormones are chemical messengers that travel in our blood, tissues and organs helping with communication throughout our body. While they do impact growth, development and the aging process they also play a critical role in how our body gets energy from the foods we eat, known as metabolism. Hormones are powerful in that small amounts produce big changes within our bodies (1). This is why the foundation for reaching the Zone is based upon using the foods we eat and supplements we take to control our hormones.
