ProZone Protein powder now sports our lovely new branding thanks to the talented team at Creative Mouse Design. ProZone Protein powder is purely casein based, lightly vanilla flavoured and slightly sweetened with stevia. Calcium caseinate is digested more slowly than whey protein which makes it perfect for the Zone. It is ideal for use in smoothies, shakes and porridge and I add a scoop to the mixture when I make my yogurt which gives it a nice vanilla flavour. $75 for 1 kilo. Depending on frequency of use this should last 6 or 7 weeks. It has a 2 year shelf life.
For people who prefer non dairy protein powder I have 2 alternatives:
I have bought a small stock of Red 8 pea protein (80% vegetable protein) for people that cannot tolerate dairy. $30 for 500g.
I also stock unflavoured Red 8 soy protein (88% vegetable protein). $27 for 450g.
